Kaizen Lego Game @ Agile 2011

Every time me and Danilo presented the Lean Lego Game, participants consistently expressed the same desire: “We want to make this process better.”

This feedback inspired us to develop a new workshop focused specifically on continuous improvement. The Kaizen Lego Game emerged as an interactive learning experience where attendees could explore improvement principles while working with Lego.

The workshop debuted at Agile 2011 in Salt Lake City. Though Danilo couldn’t attend, Pat Kua stepped in as co-facilitator, contributing significantly to the event’s success.

Workshop Topics Covered

  • Kaizen
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Inventory
  • Waste
  • Standards and Improvement
  • Cycle Time
  • 5 Whys
  • Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD)

The inaugural presentation received positive feedback and valuable suggestions for enhancement from participants.
